quality control and inspection

The roles and responsibilities of welders and fabricators are as follows:

  • Receive and check materials for conformity to established standards while remaining within limitations provided by the supervisor
  • Provide seals of approval to approved items, and ensure that approvals are properly documented
  • isolate items that do not comply with standards and ensure that they are documented and reported to supervisor
  • Perform both visual and physical checks on processes and provide adjustments and suggestions to other employees
  • inspect end products thoroughly to make sure that their quality is in line with the standards and document/communicate any variances to the supervisor
  • Create and submit detailed reports regarding each process’s success and failure and provide recommendations for improvements

Minimum and Preferred requirements:

  • Willing to train motivated individuals
  • Must have a good attendance record
  • Must have a can do attitude
  • Must be willing to work in a team environment
  • Must be detail oriented
