Paint Prep lead
The roles and responsibilities of Paint Preparation are as follows:
- Clean and prep metal for the finishing process
- Sandblasting
- Applying and sanding body filler
- Applying and sanding primer
- Sand body filler and primers
- Mixing and prepping paint materials for spray applications
- Grinding and shaping
- inspect parts to insure quality
- Maintain a clean work area
- Follow company quality and safety standards
- Collaborate effectively with the entire SEI Manufacturing team to assure clear communication
- Preform related duties assigned by the Supervisor
Minimum and Preferred requirements:
- Willing to train motivated individuals
- Must have a good attendance record
- Must have a can do attitude
- Must be willing to work in a team environment
- Must be detail oriented
- Must have a desire to produce high quality parts
- Ability to read and understand prints preferred but not required
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone
